You will be a key player in advancing the next generation of perception systems that will drive intelligent automation at scale. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee data collection and labeling for training machine learning models, building out infrastructure for large-scale ML ops
- Utilize strategies such as synthetic data generation, data augmentation, transfer learning, and domain adaptation to overcome data limitations
- Develop and optimize perception systems for 2D/3D object detection and segmentation
- Design sensor fusion and object tracking solutions to enhance system performance
- Build scalable systems for camera calibration and evaluate sensors for next-gen hardware
- Write well-structured, high-quality code and contribute to engineering excellence
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in deep learning and perception, applying practical insights to production-level systems
Who You Are:
- Hold a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Have 5+ years of experience in machine learning, computer vision, and shipping perception systems
- Proficient in Python and/or C++, with hands-on experience using TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Solid understanding of probability, statistics, and linear algebra
- A problem solver who takes full ownership of perception projects from conception to production
- Bonus if you have startup experience, or worked with technologies like ROS, OpenCV, SLAM, or state estimation
