Education & Experience Required:
· Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
· 8-10 years’ experience required.
Technical Skills
- Ability to facilitate and create all APQP elements including Process Flow, Control Plan and Process Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (PFMEA)
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Teams
- Prior automotive industry experience
Typical task breakdown:
- Weekly staff and prioritization meetings
- Facilitate the development of APQP documentation including, but not limited to process FMEAs, control plans and process flow diagrams.
- Support and tracking of recommended action from the process FMEAs.
- Independent scheduling and leading APQP readiness meetings with manufacturing engineering teams
- Review and /or develop process capability studies, measurement systems analysis.
- Create final production part approval documentation (PPAP)
- Formal documentation and presentation at stakeholder updates
Soft Skills
· Facilitate and host cross functional meetings in person and virtual.
· Manage priorities across multiple projects.
