About the Role
The Revenue Analyst is an important member of the Revenue team involved in accounts receivable, billing, creating new customer contracts, and processing customer renewals.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and process new system/customer orders that create permanent customer contracts. Stay current on new system order processing procedures to support data integrity. Ensure sales supporting documents (customer PO/Sales quote) adhere to Accounting procedures and new system order correctly conveys new customer contracts. Communicate with sales reps directly as needed.
- Work closely with Revenue Supervisor to resolve contract issues and correct contracts within the Advanced Revenue Module consistently, accurately, and in accordance with Accounting procedures.
- Process current customer orders for fulfillment and invoicing with strong attention to detail and compliance with Company policy
- Accurately record churn, downsell, and reactivation data.
- Monitor and address Renewal e-mail boxes timely. Address and resolve renewal contract issues with customers. Collaborate with Customer Success on resolving customer issues.
- Create customer account reconciliations as required.
- Have an understanding of Raptor products to provide quotes to customers, high level product explanations, and online store guidance
- Monitor Accounting department email boxes for Customer and employee accounting questions, clear and resolve internal and external issues
Secondary Job Duties & Responsibilities (as needed or as a back-up)
- Enter and maintain new customers in the accounting system per Company policy and customer record entry procedures. Maintain customer contacts.
- Create monthly renewals and maintain consistent accuracy of renewal data to support accurate recording of revenue recognition and deferred revenue waterfall.
- Other relevant projects as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years in an Accounts Receivable role or one processing revenue sales transactions
- Proficient with ERP application, G/L, A/P and A/R; NetSuite experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks (adapting to change where necessary) in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Excel skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external customers.
