VitalCheck Wellness is looking for a
Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic Manager to work full time in a new outpatient clinic at a global wealth-management firm located in
Atlanta, GA 30306. The RN in this clinic will work with support from a Medical Assistant/Clinic Coordinator to support a physician and NP in a corporate health center while managing clinic operations and workflow policies and procedures. The nurse will work in a primary care, preventive care, and urgent care capacity. This role is ideal for someone who loves to implement new ideas, provide high quality patient care, and patient education.

RN Clinical Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with all employees presenting to the clinic.
- Support physician and NP/PA with patient care.
- Initial point of contact for patients, completing assessment and vital signs.
- Specimen collections including phlebotomy.
- Wound care.
- Follow-up care coordination.
- Referral management.
- Provides formal and informal education to clinic employees and staff and supports wellness and health promotions.
- Demonstrates increasing knowledge and skill in patient evaluation.
- Maintenance of emergency equipment.
- Supply management ordering & receiving.
- Researching educational topics for patient education materials.
- Create patient education content.
- Creation of engagement activities for patients and event planning.
- Promote and create new ideas for continued patient engagement.
Clinic Operations & Manager Responsibilities
- Ensure that all the clinic employees adhere to the VC wellness processes, e.g. referrals, care delivery, mandatory trainings, performance review process, etc..
- Work collaboratively with other site team members to monitor resource utilization within the site and enact plans to improve efficiencies and reduce expenses. e.g. supply/inventory management
- Work collaboratively with the leadership team to roll out VitalCheck wellness initiatives to the site. e.g. new program offerings (Lifestyle Management, Diabetes Management, etc.)
- Manage vendor relations including establishing relationships with local vendors, planning for any on-site visits, relaying invoices to operations team
- Oversee inventory and clinic layout/flow
- Manage MA/Clinic Coordinator including conducting annual performance reviews
- Facilitate regular meetings with VitalCheck/clinic staff, including documenting minutes and illuminating concerns of the team
- Track and follow up on ongoing projects, coordinating deadlines, following up on action items, delegating tasks as appropriate
- Homebase; manage schedule and attendance, ensure necessary coverage is arranged for team members on PTO
- Gusto: manage/approve PTO and Sick leave requests for clinic staff
- Facilitate quarterly mock drills
- Point of contact for all PRN staff
- Manage visitor entry using building website portal
- Manage clinic policy library, create and modify SOPs as needed, identifying gaps in current procedures and planning for future events, offerings, etc.
Requirements
- Current Valid RN license in GA.
- Minimum 5-7 years nursing work experience.
- Background in casualty/emergency medicine preferred.
- Background in family practice & urgent care will be considered.
- BLS/ACLS certification.
- Preventive medicine oriented.
- Phlebotomy skills.
- Skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Must be comfortable approaching patients and educating on present services and upcoming services being provided.
- Highly proficient in technology.
- Highly proficient in using spreadsheets (Excel and Google Doc) and OfficeSuite.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills, Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- An individual able to effectively and efficiently organize patient care promoting optimal outcomes, patient safety, and patient, physician and employee satisfaction.
- Takes the lead in complying with regulatory standards, rules and laws
- Must be a self-starter who is confident in making recommendations on improving processes
- Customer service-oriented.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
