Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a freelance copywriter for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC!
We are seeking a talented, proactive Copywriter with strong proofreading skills and a proven track record in both print and digital campaigns. The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating short-form content, including ads, headlines, and body copy, and will possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Write compelling, creative copy for a variety of print and digital marketing campaigns.
- Craft engaging headlines, ads, and body copy that align with brand tone and messaging.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project objectives and ensure copy meets client expectations.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach by taking initiative, identifying potential content gaps, and asking questions when needed to improve clarity and alignment.
- Meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously with minimal hand-holding.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in copywriting, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in print and digital media.
- Strong proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience in writing short-form content, such as ads, headlines, and body copy.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant guidance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with advertising and marketing trends is a plus.
