Responsible as part of the social media team for regularly preparing, developing and monitoring social media platforms, postings, and identifying trending social and cultural moments spreading online that Jack in the Box can capitalize on to drive rapid brand awareness and engagement via community events, social media, influencers, and online media campaigns.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
:Independently creates and manages content and communications for social media communities by acting as the voice of the brand or project in social; engaging with and reaching into communities on social media to build affinity, followings, engagement, and social sentiment; ensuring that all responses to fans are done in the appropriate tone of voice across all social channels, flagging spam, monitoring sentiment, and tracking performance
.
Monitors social media and the broader digital landscape for key cultural moments and current trends and identifies opportunities for the social team to leverage topics of interest as part of creative/content development for consumer and/or campaign messaging. Oversees the measurement of campaign performance via social media analytic
s.
Owns relationships with outside Creative agencies to manage and lead content creation and posting cadence, ensuring the quality of the social media work produced by the agency and flawless execution of deliverables; creates and develops all content and copywriting of social assets as required. Exercises discretion in on-going relationships with third party partners including problem resoluti
on.
Engages with influencer content and helps research potential influencers/creators that align with the brand’s tone and voice; cultivates relationships with relevant influenc
ers.
Interprets and executes on strategies to connect influencer/brand ambassador creators into cultural moments and align with media and CRM tac
tics.
Identifies and researches emerging social networks; devises ways to use the latest social platform products and features as part of social content
plans.
Monitors competitors and social trends; stays current on new social developments and how social can integrate into existing marketing channels. Contributes to planning, brainstorming and executing social media campaigns and evergreen stra
tegies.
Performs social media and trend focused research to help guide thinking on pitches, presentations, and active ca
mpaigns.
Prepares and disseminates monthly local market research
updates.
Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and
directed.
QUAL
IFICATIONS:Education - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Business Administration or related field; emphasis in Marketing or Communications
preferred.Experience – 1-2 years experience in social media marketing, advertising, media or related field. Restaurant or retail marketing experien

The range for this position is $54,500 - $76,300 and is based on an employee located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego. If the candidate is hired in a different city to work remote, we will apply a geographic pay differential based on the cost of labor in the market in which the e
