A regional law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their law firm, in their Riverside location, as a part-time Office Assistant. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a legal environment. The role is approximately 25 hours a week and a temp-to-hire, with potential for long-term growth within the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic client files
- File, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents
- Perform data entry tasks, inputting client and case-related information into the firm’s management system accurately and efficiently
- Scan and upload documents into electronic databases
- Provide general administrative support including answering phones, managing office supplies, and scheduling appointments
- Assist with mailing, faxing, and photocopying tasks as needed
- Assist with preparation for meetings by organizing materials, drafting documents, and filing paperwork
- Support various office projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry software
Compensation:
$16 - $20/hr. depending on experience.
