Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Power BI Analyst in Charleston, SC. Summary: We are seeking a skilled Power BI Analyst with experience in data visualization, app development, and business intelligence tools. This role involves working with Python, SQL, Databricks, and Power BI to deliver interactive dashboards and reporting solutions. You will also utilize Figma for app development and quick mockups, collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver intuitive reports. Key Responsibilities:
- Power BI Analyst will develop mockups for app development and reporting using Figma
- Support the Data platform by creating user-friendly designs
- Work on the Data platform to build and enhance data-driven applications
- Create dynamic dashboards and reports in Power BI that meet business needs
- Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights through interactive visualizations
- Write medium-level SQL queries, including CTEs and multiple joins (no stored procedures)
- Use Databricks to query data and build materialized views for efficient data access
- As a Power BI Analyst, you will develop data-driven applications and reporting tools using Python (or potentially R)
- Lead workshops/meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions
- Provide mockups and prototypes to demonstrate potential solutions before full development
- Create custom reports for executives, independent of the Data platform when necessary
- Perform scenario-based reporting, such as projecting rents with growth rates, using Power BI and Python
Requirements
- Proficiency in Power BI and Python
- Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with Databricks
- Familiarity with Figma for mockup creation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
