Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our dynamic team as a Digital Media Intern. In this paid role, you will be responsible for setting up the full digital marketing program for FerskenED. As an intern, you will get a ton of experience that will directly translate into resume experience. Our goal is to find college students who need industry experience to help get our new private school enrollment marketing plan off the ground. This is a part time internship.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute Google Ads and Instagram Ads campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and enrollments for FerskenED Edupreneur Mastermind and the ParagonED school.

· Collaborate with the executive team members to create compelling ad copy and images that align with the brand's messaging and target audience.

· Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to drive growth and reach new audiences.

· Conduct market research and analyze campaign performance to optimize ad campaigns and make data-driven decisions.

· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company is utilizing the most effective marketing techniques.

Requirements:

· Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Marketing, Communications, or Business)

· Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, including Google Ads and Instagram Ads. Experience setting up Ads in each platform a requirement

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

· Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop or Canva) is a requirement

· Creativity is an absolute must. You will be creating content and ideas from scratch with the support of our school and mastermind teams.

· A portfolio showcasing the things you’ve learned and completed while working with FerskenED/ParagonED with agreed upon metrics from within the company to include in your portfolio (with approval from FerskenED)

Important information about the internship

· Our projects are built in sprints. While we won’t have specific hours we are requiring you to work on a day to day basis, there will be deadlines to meet every two weeks. Additionally, there are at least two calls per week that will be scheduled during the normal workday (9-5 Texas time) that you will be required to join.

· There will be a 30 hours per week cap on this position throughout the duration of this internship.

· While the internship is open to folks nationwide, preference will be given to DFW based candidates.

· We will be focusing our digital efforts on the following platforms, (listed in order of importance to our desired outcomes)

o Google

o Instagram and Facebook

o Twitter / X

o LinkedIn

· You must bring your own technology, software, etc. in order to complete the job

· We already have a video editor on staff, so you will not be required to do any video editing, but you will work closely with that position on some of the available content.

· This is a Spring internship ending in May of 2024.

· There is the possibility of a retention/success bonus at the end of the internship.

If successful in the launch of our new products, you will be eligible for an extension as a 1099 contractor for additional projects.
