TalentScope Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our client in West Dublin (Dublin 15) is seeking applications for a Level 2 Technical Support Engineer with a minimum of 5 years IT Support expertise, from an IT Managed Services environment, supporting multiple clients/managing multiple issues concurrently.

Candidates must have a full clean Irish/EU/UK Drivers Licence (provisional licences will not suffice for insurance purposes).

Salary €43-€47K depending on relevant expertise. There is no requirement to manage a team in this role.

Familiarity with the greater Dublin/Leinster area for client project call-outs on occassion.

Skills essential to the role:

Minimum of 5 years IT Support expertise, within an MSP or IT Services company.(Essential)
Full Drivers Licence essential (Irish/EU/UK).
Expertise in MS-Azure support, general Active Directory/Office 365 Administration skills.
Good Networking knowledge - DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
Switches & Routers expertise
Virtualisation skills - HyperV, VMware
Antivirus Software implementation skills
Server Support Expertise - Windows Server

Fluency in English is essential as well as excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills.

There will be 2 interviews for this role - 1st is Technical Screening, 2nd is general CV interview. References will be sought prior to commencement of the role.

This is a permanent position. The role will not sponsor a work permit application. Candidates should be currently fully eligible to work in Ireland without the need for future permit applications or sponsorship.
