Engineer Project Manager (Implementation)

Location: Remote, Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas

About the Client:

JBAndrews is partnering with a top 20 global logistics provider to hire an experienced Engineering Project Manager. This individual will provide crucial support for new distribution center projects across the US. Working closely with the solutions and PMO teams, you'll help build and fit out greenfield distribution centers from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead greenfield distribution center implementations from start to finish, including process design, facility layout, and the procurement/installation of equipment.
Design facility layouts, material handling equipment, process flows, and slotting/picking paths using AutoCAD as needed.
Prepare comprehensive design packages, including warehouse management systems (WMS), warehouse control systems (WCS) requirements, utilization studies, and labor models.
Collaborate with the project management team to ensure adherence to initial facility designs created by the solutions design team.
Select and manage contractors and vendors for the distribution center build and fit-out.
Drive customer satisfaction, enhance operational efficiency, and minimize costs across the network.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years' experience managing the build and fit-out of distribution centers or manufacturing plants.
Experience in Third-Party Logistics (3PL) is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) is a must.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 40%.
