Purpose

As a Test Engineer at Czinger, you will assure that our vehicle meets our exacting quality standard and meets or exceeds customer expectations. You will develop test solutions to meet various acceptance test requirements throughout the development and production of Czinger Vehicles. Working directly with design engineers, you will develop robust and actionable requirements and facilitate the transfer of knowledge to enable sustaining engineering activities. As part of our Manufacturing Engineering team, you will also provide guidance, training, and specific instruction to the production workforce to enable efficient operation of test assets.

The Role

Collaborate with Responsible Design Engineers to develop test requirements and standards
Design, develop, implement, and qualify test solutions for various vehicle systems, both electrical and mechanical
Ensure all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards and best practices
Create a management system for test assets to include periodic preventative maintenance
Provide root cause analysis assistance or leadership during trouble rectification
Develop intuitive human-machine interaction tools for test assets to enable trained production technicians to efficiently operate any test
Implement data connectivity to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to enable effective data capture
Provide sustaining engineering coverage for vehicle systems and act as the first line of defense for problem resolution

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics
3+ years in a Production Test environment
Programming (Python, C++, other), CAD
Demonstrable experience designing and implementing test equipment and software
Great collaboration and problem-solving skills
Ability to project manage multiple equipment builds and implementations
Excellent technical writing skills and ability to create clear, concise documentation
