JOB DESCRIPTION:

Funrise is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the accounts’ payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations. Additionally, this position will also provide administrative support to the finance department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
Coordinate and execute the payment process, including electronic transfers, checks, and other payment methods.
Review all invoices to ensure appropriate supporting documentation and approvals were obtained.
Review and submit employee expense reports, matching charges with receipts, code and entering data into the accounting system.
Reconcile corporate credit card statements, match charges with receipts and code the expenses accordingly.
Maintain positive relationships with vendors
Address and resolve vendor inquiries and issues promptly.
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate month-end close processes related to accounts payable.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field, preferred.
Must have at least one year of accounts payable experience or internship in related field.
Experience with delivering proactive customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling financial data.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good problem solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.

Compensation: $68,000 - $80,000
