Position: Research Project Coordinator - Family Check-Up Online

Salary: $65,000-$72,000, depending on level of experience

Location: Must reside in state of Oregon; will work remotely

Overview of Small Business Innovation Research grants from National Institutes of Health

This position will work directly on grants funded by the National Institutes of Health. The Small Business Innovation Research (or SBIR) program is a U.S. government funding program, coordinated by the Small Business Administration, intended to help certain small businesses conduct research and development (R&D).The goals of this program are to:

· Stimulate technological innovation

· Meet federal research and development needs

· Increase private sector commercialization of innovations developed through federal R&D funding

· Foster and encourage participation in innovation and entrepreneurship by socially and economically disadvantaged (SDB) persons and women-owned small businesses (WOSB).

Tasks and Responsibilities

· Assist the Principal Investigators with all tasks as needed

· Collaborate with Northwest Prevention Science and University of Oregon staff involved in the SBIR’s

· Create a timeline for completion of tasks and oversee task completion

· Serve as a liaison to community agencies and to school staff

· Schedule and organize interviews with community stakeholders, school providers, and parents

· Organize and oversee data collection for community providers and for school providers, including provider usability testing and satisfaction assessments, and fidelity data

· Organize and oversee data collection re: parent and student outcomes

· Manage payment of subject fees

· Assist with accounting for SBIR expenses, including subject fees

· Organize and proof documents as needed, including training materials and trainee assessments

Qualifications

· Strong organizational and planning skills

· Ability to work independently and with a team

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Experience with behavioral or mental health research

· Prior experience as a research assistant or similar position

· Experience with Microsoft 365 apps, data management tools, and scheduling apps/software

· Prior experience working with schools and/or community mental health and/or primary care agencies a plus

· Commitment to employment for at least one year (or longer)

Education

· Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field
