Our civil litigation practice is excited to announce recruitment for a Post-Bar law clerk.

This role will be a part-time on-site position at our San Francisco office with a flexible schedule. Post Bar must be available to work 15-20 hours a week.

Role Description

This is a part-time on site role for a Post Bar at Emran Law Firm in our civil litigation practice. As an post bar, you will receive legal training from our attorneys. Your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting consultations, drafting complaints, propounding discovery, conducting legal research, and managing projects assigned by attorneys. You will work closely with the legal team and clients to develop solutions and help clients navigate complex legal issues.

Qualifications

Professional and courteous candidate to all points of contact including colleagues, clients, and court staff
Experience in conducting thorough research
Labor and Employment experience a plus
Civil Litigation experience a plus
Proficient in Negotiations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze complex legal documents and contracts
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Recent Law School Graduate
The term “recent graduate” means someone who graduated from law school in 2023 or who will graduate by June 2024, or graduated in 2022. An applicant selected for the position who expects to graduate by June 2024 must successfully graduate prior to appointment to this position.
