Role Description

This is a full-time 100% remote position. The Property Accountant will report to the Controller and will be responsible for conducting day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, general ledger entries, and monthly reconciliations. They will also be responsible for assisting in financial reporting and the preparation of various financial metrics.

Qualifications

Accounting and Finance skills
Experience with financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement)
Experience with general ledger entries and bank reconciliations
Financial reporting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to work independently and remotely
Experience with property management accounting required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Experience with Appfolio or RealPage property management software preferred
