Position Overview

As a Frontend Engineer you will play a leading role in redesigning our mobile app UX to be more intuitive and better suited for large customers and organizations. You will take ownership of maintaining our frontend mobile/web codebases, and be responsible for designing and implementing new features to deliver greater value to our customers. You will also take part in our customer discovery process, talking with users, organizing their feedback and suggestions, and using them to prioritize features and inform design decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where you will be part of a team that is shaping the future of farm automation.

Responsibilities

Lead the redesign of our mobile app to enhance usability and cater to the needs of our growing number of large customers and organizations.
Maintain and implement new features in our mobile/web app codebases using React and GraphQl.
Collaborate with backend developers to design GraphQl APIs.
Participate in the customer discovery process, organizing customer feedback and suggestions to inform design decisions and prioritize new features.
Ensure the quality of our codebase by writing clean, reliable, and well-documented code.
Explore and apply best practices in UX design, ensuring our applications are user-friendly and meet the needs of our customers.

Requirements

5+ years of experience doing frontend development with an emphasis on UX design.
Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficiency in UX/UI design principles and methodologies.
Proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern web development technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, exciting environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently.

Desired Skills

Experience working with GraphQl.
Experience with data visualization and UI design.
Familiarity with design tools such as Figma.
CapacitorJS and mobile app development experience is a bonus.
Excitement to learn and keep up with current technology, tools, and trends across the industry.
