JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must have prior experience with large format printing and signage. Coastal Collaborative is looking for motivated & passionate graphic designer with a portfolio that demonstrates the variety of work & creative applications for designs for corporate & professional industries. This candidate must have experience in working with large format printing, and must specifically understand and demonstrate proficiency in file setup for print. Efficient knowledge of Adobe Suites programs, and master in Illustrator & Photoshop is also a requirement. Must be able to read, understand, and create sign fabrication drawings. ADA sign design and exterior lighted sign design experience. CAD tools experience.

Daily tasks include & are not limited to:

· Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print, and digital media.

· Possess a solid understanding of design principles, printing procedures, photography, film, and

illustration.

· The ideal candidate should have original ideas, be open to learning more, create impressive designs, and have a keen eye for detail.

· Provide design proofs to Creative Director for approval. The ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices.

· Manage your own work flow by keeping tracking of time spent on all projects & communicating before going over billed time if more time is going to be required.

· Follow instructions by management and customer provided brand guidelines.

· Work with Creative Director & Department managers to ensure projects get completed in a timely manner.

· Communicated with customers regarding their projects, have excellent communication & customer service skills & ability to translate a customer vision with patience, enthusiasm & proficiency.

· Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a good handle on the latest design trends.

· In the ever changing world of design, industry standards & practices, have an imaginative mind set to problem solve, find solutions, take ownership, learn & evolve. Participate and support creative ideations and generate new concepts.

· Quality check all jobs, working with a team you will be responsible for jobs from concept to completion. · Must be very well organized, follow company systems to ensure consistency.

· Have excellent time management skills, manage your own workflow & deliverables. Must be able to manage 10-20 projects at one time.

· Strong team player who can build strong relationships within all levels of the organization. Have a positive, and optimistic attitude, that is also focused & easy going when under stress.

Minimum applicant requirements:

3 years minimum experience in large format printing industry. High Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites

Bachelor’s of Graphic Design or equivalent preferred.
