Job Title: Associate Scientist II

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Rate : $22/hr to $23/hr

Assist product developers in experimental design, formula development, data and information collection, data analysis, write protocols and reports and present results in group meetings.
Assist in manufacturing of experimental products in pilot facilities and plants (create manufacturing instructions, order and weigh ingredients, assemble batches for processing and fill into containers).
Coordinate analytical testing of product (prepare testing protocols, review test results, perform unit conversions).
Support the development of business processes that will enable pre and post run manufacturability review for research batches.
Develop and utilize data analytics tools and methodologies to conduct pre and post-production manufacturability review.
Organize and present manufacturability data to the cross functional teams as required.
Collect, clean and develop data for analytics purposes.
Identify patterns, develop trends using formulation, manufacturing parameters and product test results.
Generate insights to support research and development efforts.
Conduct product evaluations such as powder oxidation and scoop delivery studies, in process testing of pH, viscosity and total solids.

Skills Required:

Education:

BS in Food Science or related scientific field with 0-3 years relevant experience.
An internship or equivalent experience at a food company is a plus.
