Role Description

This is a summer 2024 remote internship role for a Communications Intern. This internship opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience in the field of communications and public relations. As a Communications Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and gain exposure to different aspects of the communications industry. Although this is an unpaid role, it offers the opportunity to build your portfolio and gain valuable industry exposure, networking opportunities, training, and work on projects that contribute to the firm's success.

Responsibilities:

1. Market Research: Analyze current market trends, gather data on competitors, and contribute to developing informed strategies that align with our business objectives.

2. Digital Marketing Strategies: Assist in the creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns. Dive into email marketing, social media management, blog post, and analytics to understand how digital platforms can enhance business growth.

3. Content Creation: Craft engaging and informative content for a variety of channels, including blogs, press releases, and social media. Enhance your writing and editing skills under the guidance of our experienced team.

4. Client Communications: Develop skills in professional communication by participating in client meetings, preparing presentations, and contributing to the development of client proposals and reports.

5. Public Relations: Get involved in the creation and execution of PR campaigns that aim to enhance our firm's image and build strong relationships with target audience. Learn how to manage public perception and communicate effectively through various media outlets.

Qualifications

Experience or interest in writing and creating press releases
Knowledge of strategic communications and digital marketing tools
Enthusiastic about pursuing a career in communications and/or public relations.
Keen to learn and apply new concepts in a real-world setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, remotely and as part of a team
Coursework in communications, public relations, or related field
Ability to meet deadlines
