Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our software application team. You will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-centric experiences for our software products. Working closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders, you will translate user needs and business requirements into engaging interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and drive product success.

Essential Job Functions

Collaborate with product managers and developers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to development.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to optimize designs.
Design UI elements like navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets.
Ensure designs are responsive, adhering to cross-platform compatibility.
Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and stakeholders.
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
Performs additional duties as directed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in related field (Graphic Design, Interaction Design, etc.).
5 or more years of relevant experience as a UI/UX designer

Additional Requirements

Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work.
Proficiency in design software such as Figma or similar tools.
Solid experience in creating wireframes, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
Proficient in responsive and adaptive design principles.
Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to iterate designs.
Strong understanding of UX principles, including user-centered design, interaction design, and information architecture.
Experience designing software applications, especially SaaS or enterprise applications.
Familiarity with design systems and component-based UI.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
Understanding of Agile or iterative development processes.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus but not required.
