As our new Senior Security Administrator (Audit) you will be responsible for managing agency and data center firewalls, enterprise Web filtering, VPN/remote access, access control and other security devices. You will be specifically focusing on activities related to compliance auditing. auditing requests including but not limited to federal, state, local, statutory, regulatory or contractual requirements. You will manage audits and risk assessment efforts to identify, quantify, and prioritize risks against established criteria.

Some of the day to day opportunities include:

Configuration of enterprise security infrastructure
Completion of security reports and audit responses, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations
Collaborative development of state security policies, guidelines, best practices, and strategy.
Evaluation and management of vulnerability and audit remediation items, ensure timely resolution for remediation time frames.
Provide technical risk assessments to inform and illustratea path for a secure environment.
Working with the Compliance team to develop new practices that will assist with promoting the importance of information security through the organization
Work with existing tools and implement new tools, create standard controls and assist tasks for Cyber Security Analyst as necessary.
Regularly working in cross-functional teams including internal and external representatives (other department subject matter experts, auditors, and regulatory.

Minimum Requirements

Five (5) years of increasingly challenging work experience in the information security field /system infrastructure field.

Experience must include two (2) or more years of experience in IT controls, Cyber (NIST or CIS), HIPAA, PCI, or security compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in state or federal government

CompTIA Security +

Certifications in CISSP, CISA and/or CISM
