Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Staff Accountant at Team Car Care, dba Jiffy Lube. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our business with a focus on facilities and compliance related expenses. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual with 1-3 years of accounting experience who can help us process and maintain accurate financial records, analyze financial data, and ensure compliance with approximately 500 locations. This role will be based in Irving, TX, with the flexibility for some work from home after 90 days of employment.

Reponsibilities

Process and manage rent and property tax payments accurately and timely.
Oversee and manage utility payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
Manage month end close activities including identifying and accounting for accruals to meet deadlines and perform accurately.
Support compliance functions related to property management and taxation.
Maintain relationships with landlords and utility providers, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to help management understand financial trends and impacts.
Other duties as requested to assist Team Car Care in meeting its goals.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
