Expats.cz, a Prague-based media platform, seeks a talented journalist to join our team and create native advertising content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in journalism, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to produce engaging, informative, and persuasive content that meets our clients’ objectives while upholding our editorial standards.

Our clients range from international brands to tourism boards and cultural institutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-person interviews with corporate leaders and collaborating with their PR teams to develop profiles that position organizations’ key individuals as thought leaders. Experience reporting on business, economy, and startups, as well as comfort in a corporate environment, are a must.

Key responsibilities:

Content creation: Produce high-quality native advertising articles that are tailored to our target audience, aligning with client objectives and our editorial voice.
Interviews: Conduct thorough research on various topics to create accurate and insightful articles. Stay informed about industry trends, client products/services, and audience interests.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to understand client needs and collaborate with our editor and production team to see the article through publication.
Client interaction: Engage with clients to gather feedback, understand their evolving needs, and create stories that resonate with our audience while achieving successful engagement metrics.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience as a journalist or content writer, preferably with experience in native advertising or branded content.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
Excellent research abilities and the ability to translate complex information into reader-friendly content.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines using a content management system.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and internal teams.
Creativity and adaptability to craft compelling stories that resonate with diverse audiences.
