Position: Sr. Front End Engineer (Contract)

Groove Jones, a world-renowned and award-winning studio specializing in Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Interactive Entertainment technologies, is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer for an upcoming project. The ideal candidate will have a helpful, proactive, and supportive work ethic, ready to experience cutting-edge technologies and work with exciting clients.

This is a contract role - Remote or Local

Duties and Responsibilities

Design and implement front-end solutions using React.js and TypeScript
Develop responsive and optimized user interfaces for multiple browsers and devices
Implement efficient state management solutions
Create smooth and engaging animations using Framer Motion
Collaborate with the team to integrate front-end with AWS services
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code
Ensure high-quality user experiences through optimal user flow design

Position Requirements

5+ years of experience with React.js and TypeScript
Strong proficiency in modern CSS techniques and best practices
Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, or Zustand)
Familiarity with AWS services and cloud architecture
Expertise in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Proficiency with Framer Motion for creating fluid animations
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Preferred Skills

Experience with react-router and styled-components
Familiarity with GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform)
Knowledge of Rive animation tool
Experience working in Agile development environments
Understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
Knowledge of web accessibility standards
