Job Summary:

Join our team as a Mortgage Processor where you will play a crucial role in facilitating the loan processing and approval process. As a key member of our financial services team, you will ensure accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Duties:

Process and underwrite mortgage loan applications efficiently and accurately.
Verify all required documentation and information for loan approval.
Collaborate with loan officers, escrow agents, and underwriters to expedite the loan process.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies.
Utilize 10-key typing skills for data entry and processing tasks.
Work closely with FNMA guidelines to ensure loan eligibility.
Maintain communication with borrowers to provide updates on their loan status.
Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the processing of loans.
Support the overall loan processing workflow to meet deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

Previous experience in mortgage processing or related financial services field.
Familiarity with loan processing procedures and documentation requirements.
Knowledge of basic math principles for calculations related to loans.
Understanding of escrow processes and procedures.
Proficiency in using banking systems and software for loan processing.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Knowledge of Loan Officer responsibilities and functions is a plus.
Familiarity with contract terms related to mortgage loans is preferred.
