The Position: We are looking for a Data Analyst to support senior consultants with data management, data analytics, market research, spatial analytics and mapping for our site selection projects.

Requirements:

· 0-2 years of experience in statistical analysis, geospatial analytics/mapping, and/or location consulting.

· Bachelor’s degree in geography, statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, STEM or business is preferred.

· Experience with predictive modeling and/or econometrics is preferred.

· Microsoft Excel and proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.

· Experience with GIS software platforms (ESRI preferred).

· Alteryx proficiency.

· Previous data blending, data reporting and analysis experience with strong use of Excel and Power BI at an advanced level; including working knowledge of simple and complex formulas, pivot tables, measures, and visualizations.

· Experience in cleaning, transforming, and visualizing large data sets using software.

· Ability to utilize unfamiliar data and methods, think critically, and problem solver.

· Positive attitude with ability to work effectively within a team environment.

· Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, project coordination skills, and prioritization of tasks.

· Analytical and critical thinking with the ability to disseminate insight from large datasets.

· Tight deadlines, prioritize workloads and achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct market research for active projects for our clients.

· Input/retrieve data from various databases, forms and reports.

· Perform analysis of demographic, labor and economic data.

· Interface regularly with economic development groups and clients.

· Alteryx for data organization and analytics.

· Prepare maps and various analyses with GIS software and mapping tools.

· Tableau or other data visualization software for project dashboards.
