Job Title Adoptions Assistant

Job Summary The Adoptions Assistant is a key member of Really Great Reading’s team and is responsible for assisting in the preparation of compelling and accurate proposals in response to various vendor opportunities. You will work cross functionally to vet RFP’s and coordinate proposal process.

Responsibilities

Vendor Registration support on the district, regional and state level
Review proposals to determine if they are a good fit for the organization.
Assist with the workflow, priorities, timelines, and due dates.
Edit and proofread narratives of RFP’s.
Compile required supporting documents to include insurance, W-9, ISBN’s, etc.
Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization’s mission to inspire ideas and content.
Collaborate on alignments to state initiatives, guidance and standards.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining close attention to detail.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail.
Experience with technical writing, creative or proposal writing.
High initiative, self-motivated.
1-3 years relevant work experience.
Skilled at working in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to deliver clear requests for information.
Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
Strong proficiency and working knowledge of other MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Ability to work independently and successfully collaborate with team members and across functions.

Preferred

Experience in K12 or EdTech.
