The ideal candidate will work daily on site at a project located in the Orlando, Florida area. Project is an existing hospitality high-rise building with most of the rooms receiving bathroom and kitchen ceramic tile remodeling work. This role will work with an Action project team consisting of a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Truck Driver, large team of Ceramic Tile technicians/tile tenders/laborers. This individual will also be comfortable scheduling, documenting, communicating, talking, use of cell phone and texting, scheduling and management of material delivery and inventory to ensure necessary supplies are delivered and distributed to the required locations/floors/rooms on time to meet or exceed the project required schedule dates and durations.

Responsibilities

Reports to overall the Action Director of Operations; reports daily and coordinates with Project Manager.
Provide supervision and leadership of Action labor work force on a hourly, daily, weekly basis.

This individual will ensure adherence to the project campus regulations, rules, safety, expectations, quality, schedule and compliance of all.
Provide expectations including regarding quality and demonstrate expectations to Action workforce.

Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Outlook (email), send texts, and work in ProCore project management software, and customer software programs. Majority of use will be communication, reporting and documentation.
Coordinate Action's scope of work with General Contractor's Supervision Team as needed and required.
Create positive work relationships with GC, Owner, inspectors and other GC's subcontractors who we will work along side.
Ability to read construction documents and understand contract details, requirements, materials and perform construction related math.
Manage Contract Schedule adherence, complicated phasing and sequencing and manpower scheduling.
Troubleshooting and problem solving with the team, other trades, General Contractor and end User.
Familiarize self with multiple building blueprints of entire project for overall breadth and scope of project.
Provide daily detailed reports electronically using ProCore: manpower count, what they are doing, where they are working, issues, visitors, directives, etc.
Evaluate labor work force performance and make recommendations as may be needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, some college or trade school a plus.
5 to 7 years experience with Ceramic Tile work furnished and installed.
3 to 5 years of Supervisory experience and managing multiple work force.
Excellent organizational skills needed to coordinate with a significant amount of complexity.
Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to manage and deal professionally with Action Team, labor work force, customers, end User, public, external contracts while maintaining high attention to detail and thoroughness.
Time management and communication skills.
Sense of urgency and timeliness.
Construction math and understanding of measurements, dimensions, basic geometry.
Computer and cell phone skills a must.
Able to walk without aid long distances & walk stairs/ramps daily in a multi-story building. Elevators are not guaranteed or able to be used for people (only material hoisting).
Can read and manage a construction sequence, phasing and overall construction schedule.
