We have a passion for change-makers seeking to build innovation into the white space within the health science ecosystem and we support them using a blended strategy of business consulting, catalytic investment, and direct development of technology and services.

The Digitalis Commons Partnership Program provides direct support to philanthropic and public funders as they transition early-stage health technologies from concept to patients. Our foundational partner is the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), a US government agency that provides research funding to support transformative biomedical and health breakthroughs – ranging from the molecular to the societal – to provide health solutions for all (see portfolio of existing programs).

We are seeking a Project Manager to join the Partnership team in support of the ARPA-H program.This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to be part of a newly created role at a startup organization. As part of this role, the Project Manager will manage all phases of assigned projects, per standard project management principles using an agile approach. We have the unique opportunity to collaborate and craft what the Project Management Office should look like. This position will report to the Senior Portfolio Manager and will work closely with other Project Managers, Commercialization Leads who run our client services work, 3rd party vendors, our client, and other project stakeholders.

This position is 100% remote and may include occasional travel ~10%.

Candidates must be able to work from home full-time.

Responsibilities

Contracting activities
Invoice management
Financial tracking of project related costs
Partner closely with our client team, as well as other internal project stakeholders to manage & oversee the full life cycle of assigned projects
Define, communicate & adhere to project scope & guiding principles
Successful change management by overseeing workflow assessments and gap & impact analysis to understand, document and effectively communicate key changes to stakeholders
Define, monitor & meet timelines for deliverables
Surface and manage project risks, issues and barriers, mitigating where possible & escalating in a timely manner, as needed
Assist with project tool development, maintenance, and refinement
Schedule and host meetings
Generate, publish, and lead team through agendas
Take meeting minutes for calls and publish
Sit on special project teams

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a Science related field, masters preferred.
PMP preferred

Experience

At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager
Federal Government experience strongly preferred
Life Sciences / Biomedical experience is a plus
IT experience is a plus

Salary & Benefits

Expected annual base pay of $100,000-$130,000 (DOE)
