Position Summary

The Senior Project Coordinator will support a team of Project Managers that manage Projeo’s project portfolio consisting of:

Federal Grants – Large, multi-year federal grants.
Commercial Projects – Shorter-term, time-sensitive confidential projects for commercial customers.

The Senior Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing project management support such as maintaining schedules and budgets, preparing routine reports (e.g., Project Management, Financial, etc.), supporting purchasing and contracting activities, and other administrative support as required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Providing day-to-day support to Project Managers overseeing a portfolio of government and commercial projects, including maintaining schedules and budgets, preparing routine reports (e.g., Project Management, Financial, etc.), supporting purchasing and contracting activities, and other administrative support as required.
Support the preparation of federal grant proposals (e.g., DOE), including preparation of routine forms and materials required for proposals, budget preparation, schedules and deliverables documents, etc.
Support the preparation of commercial proposals.
Monitor third party personnel, services, and equipment in line with Projeo’s core values.
Actively participate in data management and continuous improvement or Projeo’s data management and collection systems.
Work with Project Managers to refine and buildout Projeo’s Project Management Office and the supporting processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Software - Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite. Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner. Experience with Unanet is desirable.

Supervisor: Program Manager or Vice President of Corporate Development

Supervisory Responsibilities

None.

Education and Experience

Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or Physical Science bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year University or College. Candidates with finance/business degrees will also be considered with requisite experience.
Greater than 5 years of experience in upstream or downstream oil & gas industry, utilities and/or energy transition industries.
Prior experience with Project Management software a plus.
Formal training in Project Management including certifications are highly preferred.
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting/exceeding targets in a continuously changing environment.

Physical Requirements

Requires a valid driver’s license.
Work authorization for the United States.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to travel to customer locations, to professional conferences, and to field locations.
Travel may be required.

Position Grade and Compensation Range

The Senior project Coordinator position will be Grade 10 or 11, depending upon experience and qualifications, with an annual salary range of $58-145K and a target bonus of 5-6% of annual salary.
