Senior Substation Construction Manager - Florida (Remote)

Gryphon Oakwood are currently hiring for a Senior Construction Manager to oversee multiple crews in FL working on greenfield and brownfield substation projects. The role will have oversight for a large commercial relationship with a leading utility client in FL.

Essential Functions:

Project Oversight: Manage the entire lifecycle of electrical substation projects, ensuring they meet safety, budget, and quality standards.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain positive relationships with clients, the public, and internal teams.
Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates to management on project scheduling, status, and key performance indicators.
Business Development: Contribute to identifying new business opportunities and securing contracts.
Resource Management: Coordinate with estimating and fleet departments to optimize resource allocation and minimize downtime.
Labor Relations: Manage relationships with unionized labor.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols.
Attendance: Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Flexibility: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical substation construction.
Education: High school diploma or GED.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Technical Proficiency: Journeyman-level electrical skills and training.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Independence: Ability to work autonomously.
Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
