We are looking for a motivated Trucking Dispatcher who will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling and dispatching of our fleet of trucks. In this position, you will work closely with drivers, customers, and other team members to ensure timely delivery of goods. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records, monitor driver performance, and resolve any issues that may arise during the transportation process.

This is an On-site role. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Job Description

Coordinate and schedule the delivery of goods and materials to customers
Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
Communicate with drivers to ensure they have the necessary information and resources to complete their routes
Plan and optimize routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during shipments
Maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions related to shipments
Manage and oversee a team of drivers and logistics personnel
Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to increase efficiency and productivity
Available to be on call at all hours to handle urgent requests.

Qualifications/Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years experience in dispatching trucks
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws
Proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Office and transportation management systems (TMS) such as TMSEZ
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail
Flexibility to work long hours and weekends
Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick decisions
General knowledge of geography and routes
