About the role:

Arrow Global are currently looking to recruit a Data Analyst into our Capital Allocations team, this team forms part of our Fund Management business and is focused on ensuring the most appropriate capital allocation decisions are made on behalf of investors.

This role is a true technical, hands-on data driven job, you will have the natural flair for working with big data sets and hungry for a role that enables you to showcase your technical skills.

We are ideally looking to recruit someone with at least 12 months experience in a similar role.

What will you be doing?

Monitoring the performance of fund(s) under management, investigating trends, risk factors, and identifying areas requiring further analysis and risk mitigation
Monitoring Investment performance and forward-looking investment pipeline
Supporting in the production and maintenance of financial models
Assisting in responses to investor queries surrounding the portfolio and performance, engaging with external stakeholders as necessary
Supporting in conducting scenario analysis and stress testing of the fund portfolio(s) to enable effective risk management of the investment programme
Performing special projects/analysis and supporting in the preparation of business plans, monthly estimations / forecasts

Required skills & experience:

Strong academic background, within a quantitative discipline, e.g. STEM fields(s)
Comfortable working with large data sets, identifying and presenting key insights
A high degree of attention to detail with the ability to consolidate and interpret complex information from multiple sources
Advanced Excel skills as well as Power BI
Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems under pressure
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
Self-motivated and capable of using own initiative to drive improvements in business processes
SQL experience
