About Us: At Cypress Garden Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, we are dedicated to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our exceptional team. As a DON, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our mission is fulfilled through your clinical expertise and leadership skills.

Salary: $170k - $195k

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and oversee the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current regulations and guidelines.
Participate in the development, maintenance, and updating of written policies and procedures governing the Nursing Department.
Contribute to the development, maintenance, and implementation of the Facility’s quality assurance program for the Nursing Department.
Assist in facility surveys (inspections) conducted by authorized government agencies as requested by the Administrator.
Conduct daily rounds of the Nursing Department to ensure all nursing personnel are performing their duties to acceptable standards.
Review and address complaints and grievances from department personnel, ensuring appropriate reports are made.

Requirements:

Current license and registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing experience in Long Term Care with managerial experience.
Proven leadership and management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
