Role Overview:

We seek a talented and motivated Full-Stack Developer to contribute to both the backend and frontend aspects of our app. The ideal candidate will have experience in both areas, but strong candidates with a focus on either backend or frontend development are also encouraged to apply. This is a part-time role with compensation tied to achieving key project milestones, offering an excellent opportunity to earn equity in a growing company.

Responsibilities:

Backend Development:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend architecture using Python (Django framework).
Manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, optimize Redis cache, and ensure smooth queue processing with Amazon SQS.
Work with PostgreSQL database, including GEO modules for spatial data handling.
Ensure high code quality and coverage.
Frontend Development:
Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
Collaborate with the design team to translate UI/UX designs into functional web applications.
Optimize performance across various devices and browsers.
Work closely with the backend team to integrate APIs and services.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.
Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure best practices are followed.
Contribute to technical documentation and maintain clear communication across the team.

Qualifications:

Backend Development:
Strong experience with Python and Django framework.
Experience with AWS services, particularly for hosting and scaling applications.
Proficiency in managing CI/CD pipelines, Redis, Amazon SQS, and PostgreSQL databases.
Experience with code versioning tools such as Git.
Frontend Development:
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
Experience with mobile-first design and development.
General:
Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or in similar roles.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a startup environment.
Familiarity with the residential cleaning or services industry.
Experience with Swift and iOS app development is a plus.
