QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently enrolled in an Internship/ Practicum course in a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program OR
Currently working towards LPC (LA) or LPC / LCPC (IL) licensure
Must hold your own professional liability insurance
Must reside/ seek licensure in Louisiana or Illinois

REPORTS TO:

LPC/ Owner: Dr. Audra Tousaint, PhD, LCPC (IL), LPC-S (LA)

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Individual Counseling: Case load of 4-8 clients per week + potential of running group therapy sessions
Intake: Complete all intakes and insurance verifications with new clients
Auditing: Ensure all charts have necessary components & maintain clinical records by company policy
Assessment: Administer and interpret tests with clients as necessary
Evaluation: Complete/submit evaluation forms as assigned (e.g., supervision, field experience for class, etc.)
Supervision: Individual Supervision 1 hour/week
Training Seminars: Attend invited training seminars as necessary

Required level of education

Currently enrolled in an Internship/ Practicum course in a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program OR
Earned Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Remote mental health private practice, licensed in LA and IL. Minority and Woman owned and operated since August 2018. Seeking Counseling Interns willing to work with clients during weekdays, weeknights (4pm- 7pm) and weekends, as agreed upon with clients.

We treat mostly minority women and children in our practice. We specialize in women issues, mood, attachment and developmental disorders, and love working with individuals & couples. Looking for intern to start groups! Opportunity for growth, flexibility, , supervision, monthly stipend and earning clinical hours in private practice setting!
