The Role

String and Key is seeking a talented Mid-Level UI Designer (Mostly Web) to join our dynamic team of 60+ professionals. This is a full-time position based in our Dumbo, Brooklyn office with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.

What You’ll Do

Help us as we upkeep, improve, and expand our current app and websites.
Focus on the introductory experience of new users, using your visual and messaging skills to teach and guide them toward conversion.
Constantly iterate and improve on our landing pages to optimize them for specific audiences.
Collaborate with developers (as needed) to make sure all design handoffs are clear and well documented.
Keep our Figma files and design systems organized and up-to-date.
Work with our Sr. UX designer to manage and build all web projects in Webflow.
Take ownership of your projects through good time management, prioritization, and judgment to overcome any roadblocks.
Influence the future of our work by bringing new, exciting and smart ideas to the table.

What You’ll Bring

2+ years designing for digital products professionally (web & graphic design)
A mastery of Figma and Adobe CC, with strong component, symbol, and auto-layout games.
A proficiency in both native mobile and responsive web design.
Knowledge of front-end development tools (html/css/etc.)
An ability and desire to not only make everything look great, but to make the user’s experience better through design.
The ability to learn complex concepts quickly.
A style that is clear, clean, and engaging, while also following given brand guidelines.
Willingness to jump in and help other teams, such as Creative Marketing, as needed and able.
A generally friendly disposition.
