Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate, creative, and motivated Social Media Intern to join our team for the Fall 2024 semester. This internship will focus on enhancing our social media presence, raising awareness about grief and wellness, and engaging with our community across platforms. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and help develop meaningful content that resonates with those seeking support. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong interest in mental health and wellness, as well as experience with social media platforms and content creation tools like Canva.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute engaging, informative, and sensitive social media content related to grief, child loss, and wellness.

Create posts using Canva for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Explore and research trending hashtags to increase our content visibility and audience reach.

Help expand and optimize our social media presence through creative strategies and engagement techniques.

Qualifications:

Experience using Canva for graphic design and social media content creation is highly preferred.

Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).

Interest in mental health, wellness, grief, and community support.

Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create thoughtful and compassionate content.

Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, with the ability to meet deadlines.
