Financial Services Creative Agency Proofreader

Do you have a strange obsession with spelling and grammar? Do you instantly notice typos on restaurant menus? Do you have an eagle-eye that you just can’t turn off? Better yet, do you have experience proofreading at an agency or other professional place? If so, read on.

thINK communications, a creative marketing boutique with big brand (Fortune 100) clients in the financial services industry is looking to add a full-time proofreader to our team of no-ego creatives, writers, proofreaders and account people. You’ll do well in this position if you:

Have 3-5 years’ experience proofreading (even better if it’s at an agency!)
Obsess over the details and get a certain thrill out of finding errors
Are adept at annotating proofing edits in a PDF, PowerPoint or Word doc
Aren’t afraid to suggest a word tweak when a sentence seems off
Have been known to check the AP Stylebook
Enjoy the adrenaline rush of a fast-paced agency environment with hard deadlines
Aren’t frazzled by multiple jobs hitting your “desk” in a day
Like the idea of working with people who feel more like family than colleagues
Like to spend your birthday doing something you love (besides work)
