Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Writing Mentor at TaleThrive. The Writing Mentor will be responsible for coaching and guiding aspiring writers, providing feedback on their work, conducting research, and fostering creative writing skills. The Writing Mentor will also be assisting and supporting young writers in developing their writing abilities.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience as a writer, such as published works or notable writing achievements.

Flexibility to tailor mentoring approaches to meet individual students' needs and learning styles.

Experience in teaching or mentoring, particularly with young students or in a competitive setting.
Writing and Creative Writing abilities
Research skills
Experience in book coaching
Passion for supporting young writers
Ability to provide constructive feedback
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in participating in writing competitions is a must

Must be available to attend weekly sessions for an hour each! Recommendation letters will be provided by the organization for mentors who show an exemplary track record.
