Title: Trust andEstates Paralegal: Full Time

Salary: $55,000 - 80,000 Annually, based on experience

Responsibilities

Support the Managing Partner and completing administrative tasks
Prepare and file estate administration and probate court documents
Prepare and administer client billing in addition to scheduling client meetings
Coordinate with vendors to quickly and accurately administer estate
Conduct client intake and hosting client meetings
Ensure clients have a clear understanding of the law and expectations
File deeds
Other tasks and responsibilities as needed

Requirements

3+ years of estate administration experience in a Paralegal and/or Legal Assistant role
An Associate or Bachelor's degree
Completed 15+ estate administrations
Excellent written communication skills including grammar and proofreading
Organized, detailed-oriented, great at delegating tasks
Compassionate and patient with clients
Experience with E-filing and inheritance tax returns
Proactive, with a strong ability to assist in organizing and implementing structure
Ability to anticipate needs to streamline operations
A 5 hour daily billable hour requirement

Bonus Experience

A Paralegal certification
A degree in Accounting
An LLM degree
An understanding of tax returns
Experience with Clio
Experience tracking billable hours
A certified Notary
Trust and Estates software
