POSITION SUMMARY

Merchant Centric is seeking a Reputation and Social Engagement Coordinator to manage and monitor reviews across review sites and social platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and flagging content that violates site-specific guidelines for removal and helping shape our clients' online presence. The ideal candidate is a recent college graduate with strong skills in writing, public communication, research, editing, and marketing. You should have a natural ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and streamline tasks, allowing you to efficiently manage large volumes of content and feedback. Prior experience in customer service is a strong advantage. In this position, you’ll need to become well-versed in the content guidelines of each review platform and use that knowledge to protect and promote a positive online reputation for our clients. Working remotely full-time, you’ll be joining a team of professionals committed to innovation and growth in the digital marketing space.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor and Review: Read and assess posted consumer reviews across review sites and social platforms.
Leverage AI Tools: Utilize AI-driven tools to assist in drafting thoughtful and effective replies to consumer reviews, ensuring consistent and timely responses that align with each client's brand voice.
Identify Violations: Analyze reviews to identify content that qualifies as violating platform-specific guidelines (e.g., inappropriate language, spam, false information).
Flag for Removal: Flag content that violates site content guidelines for removal, ensuring that harmful or misleading reviews are addressed promptly.
Document Actions: Keep detailed records of all actions taken, including flagged reviews and correspondence, and the ultimate resolution of each case.
Client Reporting: Compile and create client reports to illustrate the actions taken, success rate of flagged content removal, and the overall impact on the client’s online reputation rating.

REQUIRED SKILLS

At least one year of experience in a professional office setting (internships count).
Familiarity with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
The ability to write persuasively, with extreme attention to detail in reading and writing.
Proficiency in using AI tools to assist with tasks such as drafting responses and analyzing content, or a willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new technology.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to adhere to strict deadlines and prioritize multiple duties assigned simultaneously. Self-sufficiency is key in this role.
The ability to memorize and differentiate between site guidelines surrounding the management of online reviews.
Ability to work remotely with a workspace setup that includes two monitors.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in customer service is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and effectively integrate AI tools into daily tasks to boost productivity and efficiency.
Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
Familiarity with online review platforms and their content guidelines.
A strong interest or background in writing persuasive content. Candidates with a flair for crafting compelling arguments based on logic and reasoning will excel in this role. Persuasion is key.
