About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the planning, organization, and execution of both short-term and long-term projects. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the overall project strategy, directing the technical approach, and coordinating with various stakeholders to secure necessary resources. You will be expected to establish and control key project elements, including technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs, ensuring successful project delivery from start to finish.

Location: Panama City, Florida (remote is not an option)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, organize, and oversee the program's strategic plans and objectives.
Lead the formulation, guidance, and direction of the technical approach for projects.
Collaborate with agency personnel and other stakeholders to negotiate for and secure the necessary resources.
Establish, monitor, and control technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs.
Provide leadership to diverse task teams supporting U.S. Navy systems in various stages of development, modification, or support.
Apply strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex issues and communicate decisions effectively to both the team and government representatives.
Guide team members with insightful direction while also being open to feedback and advice from subject matter experts.

Required Qualifications:

Active SECRET clearance is mandatory.
Bachelor’s degree in a business, managerial, or technical field.
Nine years of increasing responsibility in professional roles, either civilian or military, with a strong track record of managing and leading diverse task teams. Prior experience supporting U.S. Navy systems in various development stages is highly desirable.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required. A strong grasp of concepts such as Earned Value Management (EVM), critical path analysis, cost estimation, and risk analysis is essential.
A solution-oriented mindset, capable of solving complex problems and explaining decisions in a clear and logical manner to the team and stakeholders.
