Position: Project Coordinator

Reports to: Project Manager (or in his absence to the VP of Construction)

OBJECTIVE: The Project Coordinator is responsible to coordinate and manage all aspects of the project effectively and to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards all within a team environment.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

To effectively complete the responsibilities of this position, the candidate must be able to complete the following:

• Ensuring that the standards of workmanship and efficiency are met all while working under a Project Manager’s mentorship.

• Assist the Project Manager in providing leadership and direction for the project team.

• Supervise and coordinate the shop drawing process and prepare site documentation.

• Attend regular site visits to monitor the progress of the project.

• Work with the Project Superintendent and administration to ensure that project estimates, budgets and costs are properly understood, monitored, controlled, and reported.

• Work with the Site Superintendent.

• Facilitate communication between all members of the project team including Project Manager, Site Superintendent, all Subtrades, Consultants, Owners and the Architect.

• Help organize and distribute Request For Information’s, Site Instructions and Change Requests.

• Attend meetings and record minutes to ensure understanding of the project progress to distribute to all personnel involved in the project.

• Direct technical and personnel resources as to ensure the project results conform to quality, stay on schedule, and budgetary stipulations. and strong communication skills
