Job Description

Plants and Goodwin Inc, in Bradford PA has an Accounting Assistant position available.The ideal candidate will perform accounts receivable and accounts payables tasks and provide other administrative support to the Director of Accounting and Finance. Experience with QuickBooks Online and Ramp is a plus.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Must have the ability to work in a team environment and successfully and positively communicate with supervisor, members of other departments, vendors, customers, and the general public.

Maintains customer records in QuickBooks Online.

Processing Accounts Payable via Ramp and QuickBooks Online.

Reconcile Vendor Statements

Oversee Credit Card purchases

Credit Card Reconciliation

Obtain and maintain W9s

Obtain and maintain Certificates of Insurance

Process 1099’s annually

Credit Applications

Skills in maintaining a paperless office.

Process A/R statements monthly

Be comfortable with learning multiple software applications

Open Mail, Answer phones, Reception

Microsoft Office

Microsoft Outlook

Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to multitask.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.

Additional Information

Office-based with occasional visits to the warehouse floor.
