Job Description: We are seeking a creative and passionate Features Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for storytelling, a deep understanding of child development, and the ability to craft compelling and educational content that resonates with both children and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation: Develop and write engaging feature articles, stories, and content that align with Ollie Play & Learn’s educational goals and brand voice.
Research: Conduct thorough research on educational topics, child development trends, and industry best practices to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial team, designers, and educators to create cohesive and visually appealing content.
Editing: Review and revise content for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to our style guide. Ensure all content is free of errors and meets high editorial standards.
Audience Engagement: Tailor content to our target audience, including children, parents, and educators, to maximize engagement and impact.
SEO & Analytics: Optimize content for search engines and use analytics tools to measure performance and refine content strategies.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Education, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing or content creation, preferably with a focus on children’s educational material.
Skills:
Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities with a strong command of language and grammar.
Understanding of child development and educational concepts.
Ability to write in a voice that is both engaging and age-appropriate for children.
Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and basic knowledge of SEO best practices.
Strong research skills and attention to detail.
Portfolio: A diverse portfolio of writing samples that demonstrate experience in creating engaging and educational content for children.
