Job Summary

At Silencer Central, we believe that Customers + Integrity = Winning. The Quality Coordinator will be tasked with managing accurate quality inspection records of all incoming manufactured parts. This role will be responsible for completing incoming inspections and lot sampling per defined quality guidelines. This role will also be tasked with developing and defining quality testing techniques and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical manufacturing knowledge along with mechanical and quality skills to achieve Silencer Central’s goal to be the nation’s leading silencer company.

Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions

Conduct incoming quality inspection of in-process materials and finished goods
Define and monitor quality testing procedures and processes to ensure inspections are being conducted according to specifications
Analyze and interpret test results in accordance with specifications and control limits
Complete detailed documentation and record keeping on all quality inspections
Complete quality finding reports including non-conformances and return material authorizations
Ensure equipment is calibrated, validated and maintained properly
Assess analytical and testing methods and procedures as part of the quality program continuous improvement

Job Qualifications & Requirements

Associate’s degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience
2-5 years of quality assurance experience within the manufacturing sector - required
2-5 years of experience working with quality management systems - required
High understanding of measurement techniques, tools, and gaging - required
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T - required
Knowledge of industry standard quality protocol including ISO 9001 and MIL standards - required
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, departmental, and corporate goals

Compensation And Benefits

Salary: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 DOE. Silencer Central offers a competitive total compensation package that includes:
