What You'll Do

As a Data Analyst on our contracting team supporting the IRS, you will analyze complex tax data to improve compliance planning and workload selection processes. You will apply statistical techniques, create data visualizations, and develop reports to provide actionable insights to IRS stakeholders.

Who You'll Work With

You will be based in our Arlington, VA office as a key member of Boulevard’s advanced analytics solutions team, focusing on developing and deploying data-driven solutions for the IRS. This is a hybrid position, with expectations for occasional in-office collaboration at our Arlington office, typically twice a week. You will collaborate closely with a team of data scientists, financial analysts, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality analytical products.

Note: This position is remote-eligible for select candidates.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets. You should have a solid understanding of statistical methods and be proficient in data manipulation and visualization tools.

Basic Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
5+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field
Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with database management
Expertise in data visualization and business intelligence tools
Strong skills in statistical analysis and modeling

Preferred Qualifications

PhD in a quantitative field
Experience working on government contracts or in the financial sector
Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their applications
Familiarity with tax compliance and IRS operations
Experience leading cross-functional teams on complex analytical projects
