Role/Description

We seek a detail-oriented and data-driven Product Specialist to bolster our expanding Product Management team. The right individual will relish the challenge of creating a powerful product strategy through deep market and user research and analysis, distilling insights for the product team to act on. You would also possess a harmonious blend of business and technical savvy, a comprehensive vision, and the enthusiasm to transform that vision into reality based on profound product insights.

Key Responsibilities

Perform an initial assessment of Aicadium’s market research needs across different teams
Propose and set up a research repository for Product Management and Product Marketing.
Research industry trends, competitor products, and market challenges to inform product strategies.
Build research-based content for target industries and new industry opportunities.
Analyse and monitor competitor products to identify competitive gaps and opportunities
Perform research, analyses, and testing with various tools to gain insights to help shape product direction and messaging.
Work closely with Product Managers and Marketing to drive business opportunities through data-driven market analysis, development of product messaging and content, pricing, and features that will delight our target customers.
Create regular reports for senior management on product progress, market trends, and competitive analysis.

Required Skills:

Pursuing an advanced degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Familiarity with product management software (Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence)
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong team player who can collaborate and work independently with multiple departments.

Great to have:

Experience working on AI/ML/Computer Vision enterprise software products.

Expected commitment and work hours:

Three months, working two days a week in the San Diego office located in Del Mar.
